AI readiness assessment Two weeks. Fixed scope. Yours to keep.

The cheapest way to find out whether an AI project is worth doing is to spend two weeks finding out, with people who will tell you if the answer is no.

The Softrear AI readiness assessment is a two-week fixed-scope engagement producing a data lineage and quality audit, three use cases scored on value, feasibility and risk, and a reference architecture with an evaluation plan — delivered whether or not the client proceeds.

How it works

01

What we look at

The systems that hold the data, how it moves, how good it is, who can see it, and what your team can realistically operate after we leave.

02

What we score

Three candidate use cases against business value, technical feasibility and risk — including the regulatory and reputational risk of getting it wrong in public.

03

What you get

A written architecture, an evaluation plan, a phased roadmap and a plain recommendation. Sometimes the recommendation is to fix the data and revisit in six months.

04

What happens after

No obligation to continue, and no pressure to. About a third of the assessments we run end with us advising against the project as scoped.

Tell us what’s stuck.

A senior engineer reads every one of these. If we’re not the right fit we’ll say so, and point you at someone who is.
